Basic needs such as food and shelter (“giving the man a fish”)

• Organizations can apply annually for grant funding to support safety net programs such as food pantries, baby pantries, utility assistance funds, emergency shelters, etc.
• The United Way recognizes that these basic needs will always exist as long as there is poverty. We do all we can to support our neighbors in need through our partner agencies offering safety net programming.
